The Yuxi Hotel ( Yuxi jiudian ) is located in the southern section of the old Minhang Road. It is about 4km from the city center, 2km from the airport and 3km from the railway station. A three star hotel, the Yuxi has 156 rooms including standard rooms, rooms with a view, honeymoon rooms and triple rooms. All are equipped with room service, IDD/DDD telephones, color TV and central air-conditioning. The recreation center within holds an eclectic mix of services. It houses a sauna, a disco, a fitness center, a hot spring swimming pool and...an oxygen bar (now fairly popular in China). There are also meeting rooms of various sizes and a spacious conference hall, in other parts of the hotel. Both a Chinese and a Western restaurant are available.
